I just feel like encouraging my fellow brothers and sisters walking in the Christian life on finishing strong. What is it that as Christians finishing strong calls us to do? We must commit to finishing strong in Christian life. When God chooses us or calls us to a certain task we must always commit to finishing strong. God calls His people to different tasks such as; to preach, to minister, to sing, to care for somebody, to work in a particular organization e.t.c. However let us be aware that there is no mission without facing challenges. We must be prepared that along the journey to accomplish God’s set mission, trials of all sorts will come our way. This is the time that we can then show off our Christian value of faith. Deuteronomy 31:8 says “The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will lead you; He will never leave you nor forsake you”. Therefore when challenges come our way let us not despair or drop our mission. Let us commit to finishing strong. God Himself assures us that as long as we trust and obey Him, He will stay close to us.  Sometimes when circumstances are so hard and we have no idea or  a plan to fix them, trusting God becomes so difficult. But God throughout history has done things to show us that when we fully commit to trusting Him, He will come through for us. In 2 Chronicles 12, we are told the king of Egypt  attacks Judah, the leaders prayed to God and He came through for them.
